UGH! GRENADE THIS SONG

I like some of Bruno Mars songs, but every time I hear this one I think, "Yuck, yuck, don't listen girls!!!"

What's the deal?  Here are some of the lyrics that drive me crazy:
     I'd catch a grenade for ya,
     Throw my hand on a blade for ya,
     I'd jump in front of a train for ya,
     You know I'd do anything for ya.

In my opinion, this song praises unhealthy relationships and unhealthy thoughts about break ups.  Gross!  Do you agree or disagree?
