WHORE

The dictionary says a whore is a prostitute.  Why do I hear girls randomly call each other whore and b***** in middle and high schools?

Do you think when women fought for the right to vote that they worked against each other by calling one another whore or did they work together for a common cause, in that case, to be able to vote like men could?  Check out the history of Women's Suffrage.

It bothers me when I hear girls tear one another down.  I asked some girls why they think girls use the word whore.  They said jealousy.  I believe it.  Jealousy is normal, but what you do with painful emotions like that matters a lot.  Rather than hurt others, let's try to be happy for other people.  I know it's hard.  But try, try to be supportive.  Young women who walked the earth before you made history because they wanted a better life for all women.  What improvements will happen in the world if you support others rather than tear 'em down?  What impact will your generation of women have?
