Have you heard the expression or seen the bumper sticker Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History? What do you think that means?
As a mom, I might freak out if my daughter said that phrase unless I thought about it for a while. Aren't we supposed to be well behaved?!
What do you think this phrase means? As the summer progresses, we'll examine examples of women in history: who they were, what they did to change our world and why they may or may not have been viewed as "well behaved."

I think this is talking about women that don't act selfish or they don't hve anything or anyone to live for. I am not putting down the kardshian sisters or the jersey shore girls but some things they do disrespect women and our kind. They don't have much respct for themselfs.
ReplyDeleteI think that just because a girl is well behaved that it doesn't mean she won't make history it just means that she won't make history doing bad things she'll be known in history for the good things she's done.
