We're off to a good start in Wise Women this year.  Friday, September 30th we welcomed Jamie Bryant and Amy Mauch from Kiki Magazine.  Did you enjoy hearing their life stories and about the wise people in their lives?  They were good examples of how life isn't always a straight line to achieving your goals.  Like Jamie said, "Life is like spaghetti."  Her life took many turns and she's landed on focusing her work on the things that matter most to her.  Did you notice Jamie and Amy when we asked about their magazine's tagline, "for girls with style and substance."?  Their eyes lit up I think because that's part of the message they try to convey to young girls each issue, that you can have style and substance.

Did you know that while we were in Wise Women the boys had their first ever Wise Guys speaker?  They were visited by Lt. Ron Murphy (pictured below).  He talked about how everyone he meets in life matters.  Perhaps ask the guys what they thought of having Wise Guys.
