MAKE UP and stereo types
I'm tired of people judging me because I wear "heavy" make up. People think because I wear eyeliner that I'm "easy" or "emo". Make up doesn't make you insecure or ugly or fake. Look around. Most girls wear make up. I don't wear make up because I am pressured. I wear it because I started wearing it and now I am just in the habit. I'm not insecure and I'm not fake. People need to get to know me before they judge me.
I'm 13 years old. I'm a teenager. It's not like I'm too young for make up. Girls like to talk, and sometimes boys do too. Don't let anyone stereo type you. You dress a certain way, you have a certain label.... That's not fair. You shouldn't be labeled by looks. Be yourself, friends will come. Wear your clothes and make up however you want, real friends won't judge you.
It may be hard to find real friends. Don't find people that dress like you. Find people that have common interests, join clubs, play sports. Branch out! Keep wearing your make up, keep wearing the clothes you like. Find true friends. Don't let anyone judge you or change you. You are you, and that's all that matters. Labels don't matter.

WOMEN TODAY
There are so many more things us women are allowed to do today. Play sports, vote, have many jobs only men used to be able to have, and much, much more.
Women's Rights were established August 26, 1920. It was the 19th amendment. It took activist and reformers 100 years to win this right.
Unfortunately some women aren't treated right. I recently visited the Freedom Center downtown with Girls Circle and
there are STILL girls and women being abused and "used" by men in the world today. This is not right for anyone to be treated like this at all!
So the next time you go and be mean to another girl or woman, (when you don't know her whole story) STOP and THINK!
